Begun by FAILE in 2005, “Love Sour Love” is a handmade 122-page book featuring the work of 25 artists, designers, and photographers. Artists from across the globe were invited to submit four handmade pages representing their interpretation of the theme "Love Sour Love." The only guidance provided was a strict color pallet of black, white, and any shade of green they found appropriate. The result is a book full of varied printing styles and paper textures. Artists included in this book are as follows: Miss Van, Futura, Bast, Judith Supine, Jeffrey Lin, Paul Insect, Alexander Strube, Blu, Alex Lukas, MOMO, Sam3, Andrew Forteath, Hugh Frost, Mike Perry, John Voight, Mike Houston, Keiichi Tanaami, Kayrock Screenprinting, WK Interact, Rotguy with Alex Lukas, Charles Wilkin, Anthony Lister, Borf, FAILE, and Swoon, with original stories and poems by Matthew Boyle, Griffin Creech, and Marcus Downe.
