Street Art et Cinéma

Street Art et Cinéma

Date: 2017
Related collection(s): Le Grand Jeu Documentation Center
Description:
This book is a tribute to all these street artists who brought cinema into our cities. Stencils, muralism, posters and spray paintings, all street art styles have focused on the icons of cinema.   The book sweeps through more than a century of cinema, through its representation in street art. Each decade is richly illustrated and complemented by an analysis text on its own iconography.   The book also features portraits of six great street art artists particularly inspired by the seventh art: Big Ben, Btoy, C215, Diavu, Murdock and Žilda. Their poetic and surprising urban interventions are the best tribute that can be made to the cinema.
